Health care is the number one economic driver of the San Gabriel Valley economy and has shown steady growth over the past 10 years. Today, there are 115,000 jobs in health care an increase of nearly 40 percent since 2003. In fact, 18% percent of our region’s jobs deliver some form of health care service. Foothill Workforce Development Board provides tools and resources to help individuals begin their careers or grow in their existing jobs, including links to major health care providers who have career opportunities available.
