Start a Business
Even as a young adult, the dream of having your own business is attainable. Entrepreneurs account for more than 50% of the U.S. private (non-government) workforce. However, owning a business requires that you do some upfront research and planning to determine whether your idea is viable in the marketplace. There are a number of ways you can educate yourself on what it takes to own your own business and become an entrepreneur. The resources below are a great place to start learning! If you have a great business idea, contact Delfon Barron, FWDB Community Services Representative at (626) 304-8905 for more information on how FWDB supports youth entrepreneurs, or come to the next FETC Orientation. Check out our website calendar of events for the next FETC Orientation date and time.
